2 lb chicken (skinless)
4 tbsp lemon juice (bottled or fresh)
4 tbsp Canola oil or olive oil
1 tsp salt*
1 tsp red chili powder*
¼ tsp paprika*
¼ tsp turmeric*
1/8 tsp aniseed*
1/8 tsp cinnamon*
½ tsp cumin powder*
1/8 tsp brown cardamom*
1/8 tsp black pepper*
½ seed star aniseed*
½ tsp ginger powder*
½ tsp garlic powder*
¼ tsp dried papaya powder*
1/8 tsp sugar*
In a large bowl mix together all the spices, lemon juice, and oil.
Apply the mixture to chicken pieces and marinate for at least 2 hours.
Put chicken pieces in a frying pan and cook on high heat for 3 min on each side. Cover pan to then cook for another 10 min on low heat.
Serve with white rice.
